Talkative Thursday

05 September 2013

I know I never post this often but I saw this today on my Facebook feed...and I was off my rocker obsessed.

So the new fad in weddings recently has been photo booths which I think is a super adorable idea (especially once everyone has had a few drinks ifyaknowwhatimean)

But could slow motion booths be the new fad?

Check this out:

Quang + Ellie: Slow Motion Booth from Super Frog Saves Tokyo on Vimeo.

If you don't watch this you will be sincerely sad. It is hilarious and looks like so much fun.

Like, I don't even know these people and I just wanna be there with them having all this fun too.

This was done by Super Frog Saves Tokyo and I am just OBSESSED.

So tell me, whaddya think?

Car Technology

Can we talk about cars for a second?

Totally random I know.

But I definitely just saw a commercial for a minivan that has a vacuum BUILT IN.

That's right...you heard me...BUILT. IN.

SOMEBODY had their Wheaties the morning they made that decision. Damn.

And like...Who in their right mind wouldn't want that?

It's absolute genius. And it's hidden away behind a panel in back like this:

That is just way too much genius for me to handle all at once.

Back up sensors, moonroofs that take up the whole ceiling, in-car vacuums, cars that drive and park themselves, motion censored lift gates...

Sweet.

I remember when the coolest thing our car had was a digital speedometer and a car phone.

Car phone...that's right..I just took your ass down memory lane. You're welcome.

Now if only they can come up with a technology that can help me parallel park like a badass

Photo shoot with the Boys

03 September 2013

Yesterday was my first official photo shoot...well at least somewhat anyway. My soon to be sister-in-law asked me to take pictures of her boys for her as a present to their grandma for her birthday. And even though it really wasn't a big deal, for me it was. The fact that she had asked ME to take them for her really says a lot.

So we went to a zoo/park right by her house, thank god Nicole was with me and familiar with the park because I definitely will need to scope out areas first before shooting, definitely a must. And even though we had a three year old who would rather do anything on earth other than take pictures, I think we managed to get a couple good shots.
